Choir Practice
Every Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Temple Shalom. Anyone who enjoys singing is invited to join our choir.
The choir does not meet in the month of August.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
Hygiene Kit Donations
The United Church Of Christ At The Villages is supplying Hygiene Kits that are collected the third Sunday of each month. In the face of so many natural disasters, violence, or grinding poverty. Hygiene Kits can mean the difference between sickness and health for struggling families.
You may supply a single item or include as many different items as you wish. Our congregation has been incredibly generous and the Mission Ministry asks you to continue to support this project in the future as you have in the past.

The items in each Kit include:

. One hand towel measuring approximately 16” x 28” (no fingertip or bath towels)

. One washcloth

. One wide-tooth comb

. One nail clipper (no metal files or emery boards)

. One bar of soap (bath soap in a wrapper)

. One toothbrush (in original packaging)

. Six Band-Aids (all the same size)

**Please don't supply toothpaste that is included by Church World Service.

If you can't shop for Kit items, there is Penny Jar in the narthex where you may deposit money for postage to ship kits to Maryland. (We hope it will be filled with all your extra change!)
